We were not really aware of other alternatives than Daemonlogger . But, in term of performance, we experience far less packet loss in netsniff-ng compared to Daemonlogger.

It’s nice to know that Gigamon does offer virtual tap on AWS.

One of our challenges was replicating the same process on Windows EC2 instances, Does Gigamon virtual tap support this?
